I don’t understand why this turns into a New York Yankees the good Boston Red Sox the bad New York Mets the ugly shirt about how America is better/worse than Japan. It is simply an article about a man’s idea for elementary schools. We can look at it and see what would work and what wouldn’t work in the US. What you are doing is similar to the way children have raised a generation or 2 ago in the West. So they played many hours outside with other children. And without adult supervision and became resilient. Now we hide them indoors and instill fear of the outside in them. So they have become neurotic. I wonder what would happen if someone built a school like this in the US despite all thoughts and comments of it working or not.
